*Chief Douglas believes that law enforcement is a calling, not just a job. The oath of office a law enforcement officer takes should not be taken lightly. The oath to protect and defend the constitution is our badge of honor and those who fail to keep that oath should not wear the badge or uniform. A law enforcement officer has to have integrity and walk in truth and humbleness. A leader should not ask his people to perform a task he would not do himself. Law enforcement officers are servants of the people we are sworn to protect.*
